"תרגיש בבית" - אומר המארח. למה הוא מתכוון?
כולנו יודעים לזהות את התחושה ואת הכוונה שבמושג. כולנו שואפים לחוש אותה בביתנו, בעבודתנו, אצל חברינו ובסביבתנו.
ולמרות הקולקטיביות שבתחושה, יש לנו קונספציות שונות מאוד אחד מהשני מה מייצר אותה ואיך המרחב הזה נראה.

אפרט.ארט הוא מקום החי על הגבול שבין בית לבין מקום שכבר אינו בית.
הרעיון שמאחורי אפרט.ארט הוא פריצת המחיצות ובחינה של סיטואצית מגורי אמן ומרחב אמנותי.
הקירות מתפקדים כמחסה וכמגן בו בזמן שהם מתפקדים כנושאים רעיונות ויצירה.
האם אמן יוצר רק במרחב אמנותי ובביתו כלה מלהיות אמן?
האם באמת ניתן לעשות את ההפרדה הזו ואולי ההפרדה הזו היא הפרדה פיזית, ארכיטקטונית בלבד?

The theme of “HOME” is fascinating, basic, existential, sublime.

What does "home" mean?

Is it a mental state? Is it a physical space?

“Make yourself at home”, says the host. What does that mean?

We all understand the concept. We all strive to achieve it at home, at work, at our friends' houses and around us.

And yet, despite the collectiveness of the feeling, we have very different ideas about what creates it and what this space should look like.

Apart.Art lives on the thin line between home and a place which is no longer home.

The idea behind Apart.Art is to break down the borders and to question the situation of an artist's living space and an artistic space.

The walls function simultaneously as protectors and as bearers of ideas and art.

Does an artist create only in an artistic space, and cease to create at home?

Can we really make this distinction, or is this division merely a physical architectural matter?

Thus, the opening exhibition of Apart.Art, an alternative art space, is naturally about “HOME”.
